My intention for this offering is to empower non-native English language learners to make their voices heard through a unique integration of practical one-on-one English literacy education and individualized cultural mentoring and coaching. This is a unique integration of practical one-on-one English literacy education and individualized cultural mentoring and coaching which guides learners through the challenges of navigating systems and overcoming real-life situations for which limited English proficiency is an almost insurmountable barrier. This approach bridges cultures and supports the learner’s transition into the larger community.
